Some people will go to extremes when a flood is coming. My
question is....was this worse than water damage???
Maybe they're planning on moving the house elsewhere, I
don't know....

Not sure what I'm seeing there but if that's a new foundation under that house, it's a LOT of expense for such a little joint like that. I think I'd have made a bigger foundation so I could easily add on later. Great view though, huh?
I don't think they could, Bud. Lot sizes on the water are pretty small on that road. The disturbing thing (for the homeowner) is, I'm sure the flooding will lead to mould problems in this apparently "new" foundation.
