i have always wanted to go to maine but only in summer. looks like master l is a master fisherman now!
btw, the only storm we got rain from is fay. i've mostly been posting on the homeschool blog, but even then it's infrequent. i'm exhausted!
My only experience with Maine besides Steven King is with ice cold summer ocean temps and B52 sized mosquitoes. Glad you found a fun time.

A tale from long ago: a guy I knew back in Cambridge in the 80s was in a supermarket in Maine and ran into Julia Child, buying vegetables. He joked, "I'd sure like to eat whatever YOU'RE going to make tonight". And she invited the guy and his friend to her house for dinner. Supposedly, it was a good meal...
