I still have it. It's one of the first 900, made of real wood, not plastic like the new ones. I have a bad habit of getting in on the ground floor with new instruments instead of waiting a few years until the prices come down...Mrs. L will gladly tell you!
I hear you! I still have my first electric Barcus-Berry violin. It was also a really low number. I couldn't possibly ever part with it! Remind me to tell you about the keyboard I MADE my parents buy me!
