Hide the Children and Pets!

Bringing us up-to-date, so I can't be accused of falsely representing myself as a youngster! This is a fairly recent photo. You'll note that my practice spaces haven't improved all that much in the last 11 years! Well, this one is cleaner....and I own it....so I guess that IS better.

Came over from Last Girl. This is cool. I'll be back. I would imagine your lows are really low down there, huh?

Hi, Bud. Actually, most of the sound waves travel into the heating system and up into the main floor of the house!
I've been over to your site, too, but I don't think I left a comment...bad on me. I DID send someone else over to check out your CD, though, because I thought it would be right up his alley.

Stopping by via Deni's site to say congrats on being a finalist in her contest. I've enjoyed reading your posts, especially the one regarding Memorial Day. I had an uncle much like that only I was the surrogate daughter in a house full of boys. I do miss him as well. This is my first visit, but I plan to be back. I didn't know I'd find so many musician sites. My brother and SIL are performing songwriters, having just returned from Kerrville Folk Festival this week. He was one of the songwriting finalists this year, so I'm pretty proud of him. Have a great weekend!

Hey, thanks to everyone for stopping by.

Rug: We musician types like Last Girl, it's true! There's just something about a girl with a blue violin...
Glad you like the Bluescasters' music.

MrsM: Canada, eh? Well, New Hampshire is not TOO far off!

ST: It was built specifically for me. The pic is a bit of a lark - you'll note that the endpin is not extended - so it should be taller. Mrs. L took the picture since there weren't any of me with that particular child, er, ah..I mean, instrument...

Wow...I had serious typos on the first try, as if it was written in some Scandanavian language. Stopped by via Deni's, seeing that you were another finalist in her contest. You do indeed run a very nice blog. I'll get around to linking to you from Sock Monkey later, but in the meantime, you're bookmarked so that I can find you again.

Oh, BTW, I love the hot water heater in the background. I had to have my 21 year old one replaced Friday afternoon, which meant wangling a "Summer Friday" from my boss. But the work is done, I've mopped up the residual mess, and I have a brand new unit, instead of a leaker.

Jane: First, my bandmate, Larry, gives everyone a nickname. He probably would take your "J.B." and make you "The Hardest Working Blogger on the Net". OK. Sorry. But that aside...thanks for coming!

Glad you like the heater. It's not brand new, but still a toddler. I'm so proud. Ha!

Funny how "parents" of new household appliances get, isn't it?
