Speaking of Old...

As the cashier at the supermarket handed me my change
today, she said, "Have a nice day, young man".

I wondered why (if I'm a young man) - both my pinky
fingers, the knuckle joint of my right index finger, and my
entire left index finger ache like hell whenever
it rains?

Must be that "adolescent bursitis" you always hear
about.

But, on the plus side, the woman DID offer to share
some meds with me. Legal ones, but still....

I don't care what the recent publicity is, I take high doses of glucosomine/chondroitin twice a day. When I don't, I feel it in my fingers. Warming them up in water and stretching before you play helps too. But you must already know that.

Yeah, Bud...if I don't stretch before activity, I'm toast. That includes both hands AND legs. Forgetting is not an option anymore!

Arthritis. I have it in my neck, lower back, and right knee. Some days are good, and some days are really painful. I hope you escape with less pain than I. nothing I do for a living depends on much more than commuting and keyboard mobility a this point, so yeah, I should be good for another few years.

I hope you feel up to snuff pretty soon. Mr. L.!

I do the glucosamine/chondroitin thing as well. Aside from the knee I wrecked skiing nearly 20 years ago, I have arthritis in my neck for sure (and MRI proved that), and when that starts aching like crazy, it's hard to concentrate on getting my regular work done in the office. It wouldn't surprise me if my neck's not the only body part I have with arthritis.
